Hey friends! Today you get to witness me doing nothing but RAMBLING. Lol. I have several posts in progress, but they all need more work at the moment than I’m willing to give. Or have energy to give. How is it possible that a hypothetical person (aka not me) can sleep in almost an extra two hours, sit in a van for another two and then waste the rest of the day watching movies and reading…how can said person be so tired??????????
Deep questions of life.
Other such questions include ones like would I look strange if all of my hair turned white at the age of twenty? Will we ever find a way to make coffee taste as good as it smells? Is there taffy that won’t get stuck to your teeth? When can we stop wearing masks? Why do some really terrible books get published and other really good ones go unread? Why are my toenails purple? Will I ever learn how to write blog posts that aren’t goofy?
There’s a peak into my tired mind.
*turns back to the topic of gliders*
Ink and Dreamer have recovered nicely from their respiratory infection. They’ve been so adorable lately. I play with them every night and…man. You guys are missing out. They are the greatest pets ever. High needs and sensitive maybe but having them is really rewarding. The amount of trust that they eventually place in you is amazing. It’s been so much fun to see them bond with me more over the past few months.
When I got Dreamer, she was so much more skittish than Ink. She’s come so far. She will hang out with me, groom me (WITHOUT BITING, UNLIKE INK!!!!) and just look at me with those big, innocent eyes. She’s adorably sweet and I’m so happy that she’s becoming more bonded to me.
I’m planning to do a post about trimming their nails soon. I do it every three weeks. I really need to get into a habit of doing it every ten days because their nails get SO sharp. Dreamer’s especially. I wore a thinner shirt last night and they were climbing all over my back and shoulders. This morning when I went to change my shirt I was like, “Why are there little red dots and scratches all over my back?!” then remembered that their nails were in need of trimming. Ouch.
I’ll also be doing posts about cage cleaning, bonding with your glider, moving with gliders, how to deal with suggie who constantly bites you, cheap toys and treats. *deep breath*
I also want to do another photo shoot with them, but I’m also trying not to stress them out unnecessarily. Because they are nocturnal and hate bright lights, my camera does not work well. But within the next couple months (maybe Christmas time!!!) I’ll have more pictures of them up and ready!
I’m seriously about to fall asleep over my keyboard. XD I’ll come back and read this next week and be like, “Hu?” Why I needlessly embarrass myself on my blogs I’ll never know. XD
What types of posts do YOU want to see in the future? Would you like me to do a Christmas themed photo shoot with my gliders?
