Hey guys! Today I’m sharing an update on Star Rain and Laelynn! There will also be some awesome pictures at the end. Mama and I did a photoshoot with both babies! (Thank you! <3)
Star Rain & Laeynn are both eight weeks old! They are weaned and are ready to go to their forever homes! 😁😥 I have so enjoyed watching them grow and mature from little pink, hairless babies to furry, fast almost-adults. ❤
Star Rain is such a sweet little girl. She has a very gentle, cautious personality, like Ink. If she’s tired, she’ll curl up in my hands and fall asleep. She will come right up to my hand and crawl on my shoulders. She is super soft. Her deep red eyes are so unique!
Ah, little Laelynn! She is a mirror personality of Dreamer! She is an explorer. She managed to squeeze under my closet door several times – even after I blocked it up! (Which means I have to keep a heavy eye on her – if I look away for literally one second, she’ll be gone.) She has a ton of energy and is always bouncing from place to place. She’s an amazing climber and somehow always bounces up to my bed and crawls all over my pillow. 😑 (I have a strict rule for Ink especially – no being on my bed. He wants to mark it as his space, and I really do not want to smell sugar glider pee all night. XD)
Playtimes at night have been so much fun! I let all of my gliders out of their cage and into my bedroom to get some out-of-cage time. When I first got Ink and Dreamer, I had a hard time keeping track of them both at once. Now I have to keep track of four gliders who are all in different places in my room. It gets challenging sometimes! I’m always counting heads.
“There’s Ink…there’s one of the babies…there’s Dreamer…where’s the other baby?!” Insert me looking around frantically for a minute while a million bad scenarios run through my mind. “Oh, wait. There she is. Sitting right beside the cage.”
Sometimes it’s challenging to keep them all out of trouble, but it is so worth it! I love playing with all of them at once. I love it when the babies come up to me and climb on my back or try to chew on my shirt. It’s been such a blessing getting to hang out with these adorable creatures!
I’ll stop rambling and let you get to what you have all been waiting for – PICTURES! 🙂
Both little girls wondering why I was waking them up!
Sweet little girl! It was an honor to have my pictures taken with her!
Ah, my cuddly baby! She did such a good job during this shoot. I love her gaze and her sweet little eyes in the first couple pictures!
Well, I hope that you have enjoyed this! Have a wonderful day, friends!
